Building Facility Condition Assessment / Building Audit

Building Facility Condition Assessment is a building audit exercise to identify system conditions, plan areas of improvements, justify maintenance needs and anticipate operational risks. It is a complex assessment where the process also evaluates other factors such as keeping old equipment running while contemplating the impact of installing new efficient equipment.

The building audit is ideal for building or facility that has been operating for more than five (5) years. The objective of this exercise is to improve the building’s operations and systems by devising the most appropriate action plans according to the findings and analysis. There are three (3) types of building audit namely:

   a) Assessment of a specific area of improvement or system

   b) Assessment of a combination of areas of improvement or systems

   c) Comprehensive assessment of the whole building/facility

Before embarking on the building audit exercise, our qualified auditors would seek the endorsement and engagement of our customers in order to synchronise our deliverables with the expectations and desired outcome. The assessment/audit usually covers all aspects of building operations including security, access system, energy/utilities, fire protection, air-conditioning, air ventilation, lightning flux and many more.

Environment and Air Quality Assessment

The assessment of environment and air quality focuses in determining the ideal air quality based on various factors such as ventilation, temperature, building design and purifying system. Building or manufacturing plants with high emission of carbon monoxide or other hazardous gas need to constantly monitor its air quality to avoid health and safety issues.

Customers with air quality issues are recommended to implement an assessment to improve the environment systematically.
